Appointments
Book a consultation
Appointments are arranged by phone or WhatsApp — it is quicker than a form and you will speak to someone the same day. If you are travelling from outside Surat, send your reports ahead so the consultation starts with the answers.

How it worksBefore you come
What to bring
A consultation with the right things in front of us is worth two without them. This list is short on purpose.
Every scan you have — the images, not just the report
X-rays, MRI, CT. Films, a CD, or photographs of them on your phone. The report alone is far less useful than the images.
Loose trousers or shorts
The joint needs to be examined properly, and that means seeing it. This matters more than people expect.
A list of your medicines
Including anything for blood pressure, diabetes, or blood thinning. Bring the boxes if it is easier.
Previous operation notes, if any
If you have had surgery on this joint before, the operation notes change the assessment considerably.
Your insurance details
So pre-authorisation can be started early if surgery is likely — this is the step that most often delays a planned operation.
Someone to listen with you
Most people absorb about half of a consultation, particularly when anxious. A second person hears the other half.
What will happen
Twenty to thirty minutes for a new problem.
- 1
Your story
How it started, what makes it worse, and — most importantly — what you can no longer do that you want to.
- 2
Examination
The joint is examined properly. For many problems this is more informative than the scan.
- 3
Your imaging, on the screen
In plain language, with the actual problem pointed out. Not summarised at you.
- 4
The options, including doing nothing
What happens if you leave it, what non-surgical treatment would involve, and whether surgery is genuinely indicated.
- 5
A written plan
Dated, with what to do each week and when you will be reviewed. Plus a cost estimate if surgery is being considered.
Where and when

Costs, insurance and time off work
Answered as directly as they can be without seeing you. You will always get a written estimate before committing to anything.
Ready when you are.
No appointment is wasted, even if the answer turns out to be that you do not need an operation. You will leave with a plan either way.
